WELCOME to Dr Satoshi Hata

 

 

Satoshi will be visiting us for one month, to collaborate on various aspects of electron tomography. He will give a presentation of his dark-field tomography technique in a seminar on 25 October.

Tim celebrated the successful completion of his PhD viva. He leaves us (but stays in Cambridge) to become a doctor in another way: studying medicine.

WELCOME to Professor C Barry Carter

 

 

Barry will be visiting for six months, from the Chemical Engineering and Materials Science Department of the University of Minnesota. His research interests include: defects and interfaces in semiconductors, metals and ceramics; growth in thin films; and glass.
