Research undertaken by the Electron Microscopy Group focuses primarily on the development of novel electron microscopy techniques and their application to a wide range of materials and devices.

Current research topics include:

Electron Tomography

Electron Diffraction and Crystallography

Superconductivity and Phase Transitions

Nanostructured Materials and Devices for Energy Applications

In situ electron microscopy (electrochemistry, liquid flow, heating, illumination)

Microanalysis (DualEELS and SSD EDX)

Aberration-Corrected Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy
